INDONESIA, THE NEXT TARGET OF FACEBOOK

According Dailysocial, Facebook is rumored to set up offices in Indonesia and also move their main offices to this country. According to the information, Facebook office will be established in Gedebage, Bandung, West Java, Indonesia. Facebook will make Indonesia as one of the central development of the Internet.

Facebook office in Indonesia are planned far more sophisticated, more comfortable and claimed would be better than the Googleplex and Facebook in Palo Alto office, of all the good side of design, technology, and various additional facilities, as well as several facilities already exist now, such as storage containers and the fashion side which is very well known in Gedebage. 

Facebook’s plan is based on the fact that internet users in Indonesia grow rapidly and a very broad market, especially for the mobile Internet. Moreover, Facebook is also rumored to launch various local mobile and web applications. As part of its strategy to attract more local users, Facebook will make the target of 80% Indonesian citizens access the Internet and their site in 2012.

Facebook is also reportedly to add another feature devoted to Indonesia, namely Indonesian Marketplace with its Payment Service. Indonesia Marketplace will be equipped with special payment terms and no longer uses credit cards User may only use their number of valid ID card with the address of Indonesia, and the next payment to the account is converted by Facebook users. This feature is an f-commerce campaign being promoted by Facebook as well as support efforts to lift Indonesian businessmen to market their products online throughout the world.
